Deborah Crowley

Partner

Joint Managing Partner and Head of our Branch on the South Circular Road.  Deborah graduated from Law in NUIG ( BA Legal Science and LL.B) and qualified as a Solicitor in 1989.  An Accredited Mediator with CEDR.  Deborah’s areas of expertise include that of Personal Injury Litigation, Commercial Leases, Licensing and Administration of Estates.  Deborah holds a Diploma in Commercial Law​

Padraic Ferry

Partner

Joint Managing Partner. Padraic graduated from University College Galway with a Law Degree.  Padraic qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 and is the founding Partner of Ferrys which was established in 1989. Padraic’s  areas of expertise include Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Defamation, Judicial review, Administrative law and Criminal law.

Brian Sherry

Partner

Brian is a graduate of University College Dublin and qualified as a Solicitor in 1985. Brian established Sherrys Solicitors, Palmerstown in 1991 which merged with Ferrys Solicitors in October 2013. Brian’s areas of expertise include Commercial Law, Property Law, Contracts, Legislation and  Advisory. Brian has been a member of the operational legal panel for HSE since 2011, with considerable experience in dealing with childcare cases for HSE and advising on a wide portfolio of property related files.

Barry O’Donoghue

Solicitor

Barry obtained a B.C.L. (International) degree from U.C.D and an M.A from Dublin City University. He previously worked with the Legal Aid Board before commencing his apprenticeship with Ferrys Solicitors qualifying in 2009. Barry practices in the areas of litigation, employment, family, criminal and probate. ​

Claire O’Brien

Solicitor

Claire graduated from UCC. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and practiced with Sherry’s Solicitors where she became a Partner in 2002. Sherry’s Solicitors merged with Ferrys in October 2013 and Claire continues to practice as a solicitor with Ferrys at the Ballyfermot/ Palmerstown Office. Claire specialises in the areas of Conveyancing and Probate.

Gillian Browne

Solicitor

Gillian is a Trinity College graduate (BBS) and qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 following which she practiced with H.C. Browne, Solicitors and became a Partner in 2003.   H C Browne Solicitors transferred to Ferrys in April 2013 and Gillian continues to practice as a Solicitor with Ferrys at the Artane/ Coolock Office.  Gillian specialises in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation, Medical Negligence and General Litigation.

Catherine McGonagle

Solicitor

Catherine graduated from UCD with a Law Degree and qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 and has been practising as a Solicitor since that time. Catherine joined H C Browne, Solicitors in 2011 which transferred to Ferrys in April 2013. Catherine specialises in Conveyancing & Probate.

Geraldine Scully

Solicitor

Geraldine is a graduate of UCD and was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in 1981. Geraldine established the practice of G.A. Scully & Co., Solicitors, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 in 1985 which merged with Ferrys Solicitors in October 2016.

Geraldine now practices at the Ballyfermot Branch of Ferrys Solicitors and has expertise in all areas of General Practice including Probate, Civil Litigation and Conveyancing. She has developed a particular interest in Elder Law and the welfare of the vulnerable client.

Adrian Neary

Solicitor

Adrian is a Solicitor in the firm’s Ballyfermot Office where he specialises in Personal Injury Litigation. He has acted for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a wide range of litigation, including personal injury, debt recovery, breach of contract, professional negligence and employment practice related claims.

Adrian graduated from National University of Ireland Galway (Corporate Law; Bachelor of Laws; and Masters in Law, Technology & Governance) before qualifying as a solicitor in 2013. Prior to joining Ferrys, he practiced in two highly regarded Irish law firms across a wide variety of litigation with a particular focus on professional negligence and complex personal injuries claims, especially medical negligence claims.
